Suggested Use:Add a few drops to a diffuser for a spiritual climate. Great Essential Oil partners for this are Jasmine, Frankincense and Clary Sage. Helichrysum Oil supports the spiritual experience, enhances creativity and helps to remember and release past traumas. Some psychoanalysts use it for this purpose.

Add up to 6 drops to 1oz. of Carrier Oil or body care product. Great massage oil after straining activity or accidents. As part of a detox-type treatment, add up to 9 drops of Aromaland's Toning Blend (which contains Helichrysum) to 1oz. of product.

If you are purchasing this Essential Oil blended with Jojoba, increase the number of drops you add to your body care or bath according to your liking. You can use oils blended with Jojoba in a diffuser, but it is not recommended in diffusers that work with cotton pads - Car Diffuser, Scent Ball, Spa Scenter - or nebulizers. If using an aromalamp or Aromaland's Aromashell it will leave an oily residue that can be washed away; but do not overheat the lamp dish!

History:This flower is native to the Mediterranean and North Africa. It is also commonly called Everlasting or Immortelle. While the reference to "long life" made by these common names may have been caused by the fact that the flowers dry without loosing their color and beauty, it may as well refer to the amazing properties of their oil. A must-have for "first aid kit" oils (along with Lavender, Chamomile, Feminine Balance, Breathe Easy and others).
